Comic serif!

In homage to the world famous comic sans font, I proudly present... comic serif! for those times when comic sans just isn't fancy enough. Use comic serif on your academic website, museum brochure or for your next novel layout and inject some playfulness (but not too much) into your work.

RIBA Cambridge Futurama

Thanks to Vanessa and Brendan of StudioMold for inviting me to collaborate on a presentation about our vision for the future of Cambridge. The presentation, held at the Guildhall, Cambridge and arranged by the Cambridge Association of Architects last Friday and was in the PechaKucha format. Some really interesting, inspirational and funny presentations were delivered by many non-architectural organisations, Particularly by Jimmy's night shelter, and the Colourful Cambridge Campaign. I really enjoyed the event and hope to take part in something similar again.

The QR revolution

A QR code is a quick and (relitively) easy way to share information such as URLs and phone numbers using a mobile device. I have noticed a surge in their use since the beginning of 2010 and I am keen to use this method of information storage in my design work in the future, both in 2D print and 3D.
