This piece was designed as part of a live project with furniture manufacturers QFC. The brief was to design a sofa that could be transported in the back of a family car. I wanted to avoid the connotations of 'flat-pack' and worked on the concept of a sofa with no solid internal structure that can be squeezed into any car. The final design is a sofa that does not dictate its function through its form. The way it is used is open to the interpretation of the user and thus results in a truly multi-functional piece of furniture.
