Gio Fruit Bowl in Aluminium

The Gio fruit bowl encourages users to participate in the process of arranging fruit. The bowl is folded from a single piece of black anodised aluminium and can be orientated on different faces depending on its desired use. The geometric pattern etched on the outside face of the bowl is inspired by the texture found on fruit; an embellishment which gives a sense of softness and detail. The bowl uses a minimal amount of material and its tessellating shape when flat, and ability to be stacked when folded,  means that it is economical to manufacture and transport.
