Following on from the animation showing the air traffic in the skies over the USA we couldn't have a more contrasting situation here in Europe. Aside from the obvious inconvenience to air travel that the volcanic dust cloud has caused I cant help but feel a sense of romanticism. While walking around Cambridge this weekend I took this photo showing the clearest blue sky I have ever seen... or probably ever will.
